Recent Wax Reviews

The Scented Squirrel Crackling Fire:
(previously reviewed.)

VSC The Elms: Rich Pumpkin & Jackie O Supreme- Rich vanilla +marshmallow + birthday cake + VBN.) Wow! A busy Van blend that smells delicious. It has luscious opening notes of creamy pumpkin with a hint of spice, mellowed out by a super rich vanilla. It had moderate to fairly strong throw for 6-8 hours. I wish it was a little stronger/longer lasting, but it smelled great. Overall grade: A-. Would repurchase.

Breakfast At The Lodge: A super realistic French toast scent, right down to the egg/milk mixture under maple syrup and cinnamon. One of my favorites! Strong throw that lasts 12+ hours. Overall grade: A+. Would repurchase.

Kitty's Konfections Whatever (cotton candy + sugar cookies.) This scent had a general pleasant sweetness, but it was difficult to distinguish between the cotton candy and cookie notes. I found the throw to be light to moderate over about 8 hours. It was not a super strong scent, as is the case with many cotton candy blends. Overall grade: B. Probably wouldn't repurchase.

BHG Soft Cashmere Amber:
An oldie but a goodie! This is a sensual, perfumey amber wrapped in soft, musky cashmere. Had fairly strong throw for 12+ hours. Overall grade: A. Would repurchase.

Scentsationals Cashmere Cream:
A new scent out this fall. I wanted to see how it would compare to the BHG scent above, and the good news is they are different enough that it's worth having both! This is a soft cashmere with delicious sweet vanilla cream notes. It had strong throw for 12+ hours. Love it! Overall grade: A+. Would repurchase.
